A native Houstonian, Carol divides her time between Houston and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.  She previously spent half of each year in Los Cabos, Mexico. Travel and life in various environments has been the inspiration of her art.

Carol developed her creative skills at the Art Institute of Houston. She managed the marketing and design of her husband's technology company until their retirement in 2012.

In 2013, a chance meeting at her home in Mexico led Carol to a new friendship and a group of women who painted together. She accepted an invitation to a weekly painting group and it inspired her to start painting.

Two years later a new friendship with an artist in Houston helped propel Carol's art and change her whole trajectory.  She went from selling paintings to friends to being a full fledged artist with a studio of her own.

Carol's art is currently featured in monthly public shows in both Houston and Coeur d’Alene.   Her work can be found in galleries, design centers and private collections in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Mexico, as well as Nordstrom Houston Galleria.
